We use Superior Straw bedding in our hospital and love the allergen-free and low-dust qualities. Our horses with respiratory issues are a main concern when choosing a bedding to have in the hospital.
Side benefits – We have noticed that all of our horses lay down more frequently and take nice naps. We would have to use alot more shavings to achieve the same fluffy bed. We also love that our manure pile breaks down much faster.
There is an art to cleaning a stall with straw bedding. Once you are used to cleaning with it, it is no more time consuming. We do use pine pellets concentrated on urine spots to help soak up excess urine.”

We have been using Superior Straw bedding for 4 months now and having a dust-free bedding has been wonderful. My horses love laying down on a softer surface and this bedding is so absorbent because of how it is processed. I also love using it at horse shows because my horses stay much cleaner and are more willing to lay down and rest at night.
